Montclair State Ice Arena offers freestyle sessions daily for experienced skaters to practice and improve their skills with a professional coach or on their own. The professional skating coaches that train skaters at Montclair State Ice Arena are members of either the ISI, US Figure Skating or the Professional Skaters Association. On freestyle sessions skaters work on higher level skating maneuvers, practice and develop programs for competition, and work on skills in order to pass higher levels of figure skating. Private and Semi Private lessons can be arranged with one of the skating coaches, a list can be found on the link below as well as a schedule for freestyle programs.

Freestyle sessions have capacity restrictions, and first priority will be given to skaters taking lessons.  If you are planning to come to practice, please call ahead to be sure there is room for skaters for practice only.
