Montclair State Ice Arena is proud to serve as the home rink for the Monarchs Adaptive Skating and Hockey Programs. Designed for children, teens, and young adults with special needs, these programs provide opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, stay active, and enjoy the benefits of being part of a supportive team environment.
The Monarchs are a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping participants develop positive self-esteem, meaningful friendships, and lifelong skills through sports. Whether you’re interested in Learn to Skate or Learn to Play Hockey, the Monarchs offer welcoming programs where every athlete can learn, grow, and succeed.
New participants are always welcome, and Learn to Skate is free to try.
